Brídhaven Nursing Home is a Private purpose built nursing home which is located in Mallow town centre in County Cork. Brídhaven is a family owned business founded in 1989 and has been operated since 2004 by Paul & Maryclare Rochford.
Brídhaven is registered by The Health Information & Quality Authority to provide care to a variety of age groups. Brídhaven has capacity for 184 residents and has a specialised facility “The Clyda Suite” for people with challenging behaviour. Brídhaven is an Equal Opportunities Employer and over 200 staff work in Brídhaven and they come from many different countries.
Donna McNamara is the Person In Charge of Brídhaven which in effect means that Donna is the person who has the day to day responsibility for the safe and smooth running of the centre. Donna is also the Complaints Officer.
There is a strong management team in Brídhaven. Donna is supported by three Assistant Person’s In Charge, Maura O’Sullivan, Karyn Bourke, Anita Turner and Acting Assistant Person in Charge Adrienn Zagyva. Our Human Resources Manager is Helen Morley and our Facilities Manager is Irene Buckley. They in turn are supported by middle management and supervisors across every department.
Our food is cooked fresh, daily on site in Brídhaven and our catering team is led by Jimmy O’Brien. All dietary requirements are catered for and we appreciate that food needs to be of the highest quality.
There is an active Residents Committee in Brídhaven which meets frequently and discusses a wide range of matters and makes a telling contribution to life in Brídhaven.
We are always open to suggestions for improvement and suggestion boxes are located at both entrances. Customer satisfaction surveys are also completed in order to inform us as to how to improve our services.
